The short version: Sloop VPN does not sell personal information, show targeted ads, or build a browsing-history list inside the app.
01
Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies to the Sloop VPN application, its website, and messages sent to Sloop support. Sloop VPN is owned and operated by CORECARD SOFTWARE DMCC (“Sloop”, “we”, or “us”).
A VPN must process network information to carry traffic. This policy explains what the service needs, what stays on your Mac, and what we do not use for advertising.
02
Information stored on your Mac
Sloop may store your selected server, language, appearance, privacy acceptance, guest-period start date, and crew preferences locally on your Mac. Removing the app or resetting its data removes those local preferences.
If you choose Sign in with Apple, Apple may provide an identifier, name, or relay email address. The current app uses that information for the local profile and purchase flow.
03
How VPN traffic is handled
While connected, supported traffic travels from your Mac through the VPN port you selected. The service must temporarily process technical details such as source IP address, destination, connection time, protocol information, and transferred volume to route and protect that connection.
Sloop VPN is not designed to decrypt protected HTTPS content. The app does not create a browsing-history list or keep the contents of your traffic for advertising. Limited operational records may be processed when reasonably required for reliability, abuse prevention, security, or legal compliance.
04
Apple services and subscriptions
Apple processes App Store payments, refunds, subscription management, and Sign in with Apple. Sloop receives verified StoreKit product and entitlement information needed to unlock access; we do not receive your full payment card details or Apple Account password.
A new installation includes a seven-day guest period without sign-in. The guest start date is stored locally so the app can determine whether that access remains available.
05
Support messages
When you contact support, we receive your email address and anything you choose to include. We use it to investigate the request, reply, maintain service security, and keep an appropriate support record.
Please do not send passwords, payment details, recovery codes, private keys, or unnecessary personal information.
07
Retention and security
Information is kept only for as long as needed for service operation, security, support, and mandatory legal obligations. Local app settings remain until they are reset or the app is removed. Support correspondence is retained for a reasonable resolution and recordkeeping period.
We use access controls, protected transmission, Apple platform security, and maintained infrastructure. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
08
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, and may withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis. We may need to verify a request before responding.
Send privacy requests to support@slooppro.com. You may also remove local information by resetting Sloop VPN or uninstalling the app.
09
Children, changes, and contact
Sloop VPN is not directed to children below the digital-consent age in their country. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us.
We may update this policy when the service, law, or providers change. The current version will be posted on this page. Operator: CORECARD SOFTWARE DMCC. Contact: support@slooppro.com.
